I don’t know why I love photography. Is it the ability to tell quiet stories through visuals? Maybe because it allows us to imagine what people talked about? Or maybe it just shows the beauty of ordinary mundane life. Tulou was such a mysterious piece of history. Only upon arrival that I learned how this almost-windowless facade architecture was to protect the nomadic Hakka clan against bandits. Time and time shows how important it is to maintain a sense of community in order for us humans to survive against the harsh ever-changing realities of life together. The lack of photos on my photo account is disturbing 😭 thanks a lot covid 😷 I’m annoyed that I don’t know what rhymes with dango besides bingo? 😐🍡👀
